What is Scouting?

Scouting is the world’s largest youth movement with approximately 32 million members! It is a global family working towards the development of young people to help them reach their potential.

At its core is fun and a progressive programme that allows young people to develop their skills and interests in life whilst challenging them to find out more about themselves and the world in which they live.

In the UK, Scouting runs in Groups. Groups are a part of a District and Districts are a part of a Scout County.

The 8th Reigate Scout Group is in Reigate District and Surrey Scout County.
